Bolt Prospects Prospect of the Month: February

While Adam Henrich had a strong month split between Johnstown of the ECHL and Springfield of the AHL earning a post Clear Day promotion to the Falcons and defenseman Vladimir Mihalik continued his development with Prince George, one prospect has remained as steady as a rock over the past few months.

D Andreas Holmqvist, Linkopings (SWE)

Injuries may have kept defenseman Andreas Holmqvist out of the lineup early in the month of February, but his return late in the month was the critical driving force in helping Swedish club Linkopings leap all the way to 4th on the Elitserien table in the final few games of the league's regular season. Holmqvist was a point a game player for the month scoring 1 goal and 5 points in 5 games with 4 penalty minutes eventually earning a spot on his team's top defense pairing. Holmqvist's efforts this season have caught the Lightning organization's attention and may have put him back on the map as far as the team's future plans. He set a regular season career high this year with 7 goals and 28 points in 49 games, topping the 6 goals and 22 points he posted in 46 games last year.

Any word on Sascha Goc

Any word on Sascha Goc coming back over? The man almost leads his team in scoring but has missed 14 or 15 more games...

Nothing

There has been no indication he's coming back over.

He's not on the organizational roster on tbl.com (http://www.tampabaylightning.com/tbl/Organizational.pdf), but then again neither was/is Holmqvist, who appears to be back in the picture somewhat.
