In the “bad news†department: Zador appears to have definitely lost his starter’s job and Panik hasn’t scored in 8 games (and 1 in his last 10). Kevin Bailie, who started the year as Zador’s backup, earned Second Star in the loss for the Gens.

The Pats had a 4-2 lead entering the third period, but exited with yet another loss. Seattle scored the game’s final four goals. On the plus side, Ashton is creeping toward point-per-game status and extended his goal scoring streak to 3 games (4 goals in that time).

They're 0-1-0-1 this week - the same week Roy blamed Lightning coach Guy Boucher for the lack of offense in the QMJHL. #GuyBoucherKarma

Season Totals: 7-3-1-1, 3.48 GAA, .880 sv%, 1 SO
D Brock Beukeboom, SSM: 0-1-1, +3, 0 PIM
Season Totals: 15 GP, 0-1-1, -5, 36 PIM

A snowman in Kitchener. Panik was a team-worst minus-5. The next worst was minus-3. Possible 2011 Lightning draft target right-handed defenseman Ryan Murphy just had an assist in the game. He has 10 goals and 28 points in 16 games so far this year for the Rangers and is now playing himself into the top of the first round it seems (and too high for the Lightning?).

PG is 9-7-1-0 for the year and sit in second in the B.C. Division. Tyson Barrie, a Colorado Avalanche draft pick and son of former Lightning owner Len Barrie, had a goal and 2 assists for Kelowna.
