Ex-Devils first rounder and brother of former Lightning prospect Henrik Bergfors, Nicklas Bergfors had the game's lone goal in Cherepovets' 1-0 win over Novosibirsk. Vasily Koshechkin stopped all 29 shots he faced in the match. Cherepovets is off until next Tuesday when they'll face Nizhnekamsk.

Riku Helenius (pictured) got his third straight start and third straight win for JYP in their 5-2 victory over HIFK. Ex-Lightning forward Eric Perrin had a pair of helpers in the win for JYP. They face HPK on Saturday.

Nikita Nesterov was again a scratch for Chelyabinsk as they fell 2-1 in the shootout to Ekaterinburg.

Vasily Koshechkin made 36 saves to blank St. Petersburg 4-0. It's an impressive shutout for Koshechkin considering SKA currently paces the league in the standings. Cherepovets faces Novokuznetsk next on Saturday.
Nikita Nesterov did not dress for Chelyabinsk of 1-10-12 in their 3-2 shootout loss to Khanty-Manisysk. Cheyabinsk faces Ekaterinburg on Friday.

In a rare back-to-back start situation, Riku Helenius stopped 28 to help lead JYP to a 4-2 win over Pelicans Lahti. Does this signal that Helenius has moved out of his tandem situation with co-number one Joni Myllykoski? Ex-Lightning forward Eric Perrin had a helper in the victory. JYP faces HIFK next on Friday.

Nikita Nesterov was not in the lineup today for Chelyabinsk Jr. in their 5-0 loss to Magnitogorsk Jr. Nesterov is likely to return to Chelyabinsk's KHL team when he returns to action following his U20 WJC stint.
