Maxime Levesque scored his second goal of the year with under three minutes left in the third period to break a scoreless tie. Gatineau outshot the Sags 25-16.

O’Donnell snapped a two-game scoreless streak and notched his 61st point of the season Wednesday. Those 61 points tie his career high in Junior A, set last year with the Winnipeg South Blues of the MJHL (29-32-61). O’Donnell’s goal was Penticton’s first of the game, scored on the power play early in the first period.

Fargo allowed four third period goals to fall on the road in Nebraska. The game was tied at one entering the third period before the Lancers outscored the Force 4-1 in the final stanza. Fargo is three points behind Dubuque for first in the Western Conference, with the Saints having a whopping four games in hand. Mullin has a nine point lead on Kero Tanner for the team lead in scoring despite playing six fewer games.

Connolly returned two weeks after spraining his MCL to lead his Cougars to a big win over Kamloops. He was expected to miss 3-6 weeks. Connolly is 10th in the WHL in goals at 27. He has eight more goals than anyone else on his team and is one point behind Nick Buonassisi for the team lead in points despite playing 12 fewer games.

Zahn how has a fight in four of his last five games. He hit the 100 PIM mark for the first time in two years. He had 84 PIM last year in 44 games and 160 the year before in 62 games. Blades coach Lorne Molleken earned his 500th regular season win Wednesday.

Janosik had four points in his last two games and Gatineau was 8-1-1 in their last 10 games coming into their Sunday match-up vs. Montreal, but the Juniors earned a shutout win. Landry continues to set new career highs for goals and points in a season each time he hits the scoresheet. Landry, who is already under contract with the Lightning and will likely be in Norfolk next year, is one assist away from tying his career high for assists in a season.

O’Donnell (pictured) scored his 20th of the season, but it wasn’t enough for the Vees to overcome 3-0 and 4-1 deficits to beat a mediocre Coquitlam team.
