Connolly scored his 30th goal of the season, which ties his career high, but the Cougars suffered their second straight loss in Alberta. Prince George was down 4-0 heading into the third period before climbing back to 4-2. The Tigers added an empty net goal late. Connolly scored 30 in 65 games as a 16 year old two years ago.

Brayden Schenn (Kings) scored at 3:41 of overtime to give the Blades the win. The Warriors’ Quinton Howden (Panthers 2010 first rounder) had a hat trick for Moose Jaw, including the game tying goal - his 31st goal of the season - with just over two minutes left in regulation.

Montreal scored four times in the first period and cruised to a 5-3 win over Lewiston. Kirill Kabanov (Islanders) had a goal and an assist for Lewiston. The much-maligned former top prospect has eight goals and 19 points in 24 games this season.

Guelph fought back from a 4-1 deficit to make it 4-3 with just over a minute to go, but Kitchener defenseman Ryan Murphy, a likely top-10 pick in this summer’s draft, scored his second of the game and 21st of the season into an empty net to seal the win for the Rangers.

Prince George let 4-1 and 5-2 leads disappear as the Oil Kings scored four times in the third period to steal a win. Connolly’s 29th of the season opened the game’s scoring. He is within one goal and 11 points of his career highs, set as a 16 year old in 2008-2009.

With his two assists, Landry tied his career high for assists in a season, set last year in 68 games with Drummondville. He’s already set a career high for goals and points.
