D Daniel Milan, MON: 0-0-0, +1, 2 PIM (high sticking), 2 SOG, 0 Hits
Season Totals: 11 GP, 0-3-3, -5, 13 PIM
Milan couldn’t build on a two-assist game Friday statistically on Saturday, but his Wildcats got a big win over Guy Boucher’s former team, 6-2. The Wildcats scored four third period goals to claim the victory.
Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 7 @ Owen Sound Attack 4
D Geoffrey Schemitsch, OS: 0-0-0, E, 0 PIM
Season Totals: 11 GP, 0-3-3, -1, 4 PIM
A tough home loss for Owen Sound to Wayne Gretzky’s OHL alma mater. Gemel Smith (2012 eligible), a 5’9†forward for the Attack, had a goal and three assists in the game for First Star honors despite the loss.

D Adam Janosik, GAT: 0-0-0, -1, 0 PIM, 0 SOG, 0 Hits
Season Totals: 10 GP, 0-7-7, -2, 11 PIM
After notching at least an assist in all but two of his first eight games, Janosik is scoreless in his last two. The Drakkar are tops in the league with 20 points so far this season.
Moncton Wildcats 2 @ Chicoutimi Sagueneens 3
D Daniel Milan, MON: 0-2-2, E, 0 PIM, 0 SOG, 1 Hit
Season Totals: 10 GP, 0-3-3, -6, 11 PIM
Milan broke a personal seven-game scoreless streak with two helpers Friday night, but it wasn’t enough for Moncton to beat the Sags. Milan had a shorthanded assist on the Wildcats’ second goal, which cut the Sags lead to 3-2 with half a period to go, but Moncton couldn’t complete the comeback.
Belleville Bulls 0 @ London Knights 4
C Vladislav Namestnikov, LDN: 0-1-1, +1, 2 PIM (tripping)
Season Totals: 12 GP, 6-6-12, +6, 14 PIM
Namestnikov maintained his point-per-game average with an assist Friday night in London against the Bulls. Lightning prospect camp participant Seth Griffith had a goal for London to extend his point streak to five games. He has 17 points (9 goals) in 12 games this year.
Not much to get excited about Saturday night. One streak ends, one continues - but not the right one.
Dubuque Fighting Saints 5 @ Green Bay Gamblers 2
G Adam Wilcox, GB: Did not play
Season Totals: 2-0-0, 2.50 GAA, .918 sv%, 0 SO

Big nights for Adam Wilcox and Vladdy Namestnikov...

D Adam Janosik, GAT: 0-1-1, +1, 2 PIM (cross-checking), 0 SOG, 0 Hits
Season Totals: 7 GP, 0-6-6, -1, 9 PIM
Another day, another assist for Janosik. Gatineau welcome Saint John's Jonathan Huberdeau back from the Florida Panthers by limiting him to one shot on goal, no points, and a -1 rating as the Olympiques beat the reigning Memorial Cup champs 5-1. Huberdeau was signed to an NHL contract by the Panthers just a few days ago. Zack Phillips, whom Bolt Prospects thought would be a candidate to be drafted by Tampa Bay last summer, was also held scoreless. Phillips, a Wild draft pick, has 10 points in seven games this season. He was taken 28th overall in the draft.
Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 3 @ Moncton Wildcats 2 (OT)
D Daniel Milan, MON: 0-0-0, +1, 0 PIM, 1 SOG, 0 Hit
Season Totals: 7 GP, 0-1-1, -1, 11 PIM
Considering Milan played, he obviously wasn’t suspended for his major penalty for checking to the head in Moncton’s last game. Milan, who had 38 points last year in his rookie season, is off to a slow start statistically. Moncton leads the Maritimes Division with 15 points (7-6-1-0).
