Canada East scored 5 times in the second period to take a 5-0 lead. West cut it to 5-2 early in the third, but couldn’t come back any further. O’Donnell wasn’t listed on the scoresheet.

They're 0-1-0-1 this week - the same week Roy blamed Lightning coach Guy Boucher for the lack of offense in the QMJHL. #GuyBoucherKarma

A snowman in Kitchener. Panik was a team-worst minus-5. The next worst was minus-3. Possible 2011 Lightning draft target right-handed defenseman Ryan Murphy just had an assist in the game. He has 10 goals and 28 points in 16 games so far this year for the Rangers and is now playing himself into the top of the first round it seems (and too high for the Lightning?).

O’Donnell’s primary assist came while shorthanded. It temporarily tied the game at one.

C Jimmy Mullin, FGO: 1-0-1, E, 2 PIM (hooking), 3 SOG
Season totals: 6 GP, 4-2-6, -2, 8 PIM
Mullin scored the game winner with three seconds left in regulation to give the Force a home win.
QMJHL
Chicoutimi Sagueneens 3 @ Gatineau Olympiques 4 (OT)
D Adam Janosik, GAT: 0-0-0, -1, 0 PIM, 0 SOG
Season Totals: 11 GP, 1-3-4, +1, 2 PIM
Gatineau outshot the Sagueneens 34-15, including 4-0 in overtime, but needed that extra session to win. Janosik was credited with two hits in the game. He had 35 points last year, but is off to a bit of a slow start statistically.
