Fargo Force 2 vs. Muskegon Lumberjacks 4 (Exhibition)
C Jimmy Mullin, FGO: 0-0-0, -1, 0 PIM, 3 SOG

Fargo got down 2-0 early and 3-0 early in the third before scratching their way back to a 3-2 deficit late. They couldn’t make it all the way back and the Lumberjacks added an empty netter. Mullin had a goal and an assist in the Fall Classic opener Wednesday.

OHL

G Michael Zador, OSH: Win, 37 saves on 41 shots

Zador (pictured) will again battle Kevin Bailie for playing time this season, but the 2009 fifth round pick of the Lightning got the season opening start for Oshawa. He was 14-28-2-1 with a 4.15 GAA and .884 save percentage for the Gens last year.

Prince George Spruce Kings 2 @ Penticton Vees 3 (OT)
C Brendan O’Donnell, PEN: 0-0-0, 2 PIM (Tripping)

He was a point-per-game (plus) player last year in the MJHL. Penticton is 3-2-0-0 on the year, two points behind Salmon Arm for first in the Interior Conference.

Landry was on the ice for the game winner. Rimouski only dressed 14 skaters (4 defensemen), yet overcame an early 2-0 deficit to win. Landry was credited with 2 hits in the game. Alex Emond (undrafted) had a hattrick for Rimouski.

F Brendan O’Donnell, PEN: 0-1-1, E, 0 PIM

O’Donnell’s BCHL debut was a good one as he registered a point in his first game when he set up Joey Holka, a St. Cloud State commit, in the second period for what ended up being the game's only goal. O’Donnell had 29 goals and 32 assists for 61 points in 53 games last year for the Winnipeg South Blues of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. The 2010 6th round draft pick of the Lightning and North Dakota commit was acquired by Penticton in the offseason.
