Corey Trivino converted a penalty shot attempt late in the second period to push Florida, which played its third-consecutive game in as many days, out to a 3-1 lead that stood through the remainder of the contest. The win marked back-to-back victories over their South Division-leading rivals and pulled the ‘Blades to within four points of first-place. Florida was outshot 40-25 in the match. Both teams went 0-for-4 with the man-advantage. With Alex Hutchings and Charles Landry still up with Syracuse of the AHL, Dan Milan and Pat Nagle, who again sat as backup, were the only Lightning prospects in the lineup. Florida (27-17-9, 63 PTS), which has won eleven of its last thirteen matches, and Gwinnett (32-21-3, 67 PTS) reconvene Tuesday in Estero in what will be the Everblades' fourth game in five nights.

Florida beat South Division-leading Gwinnett in their own barn, 4-3. The win pulled the ‘Blades to within four points of Greenville for second and within six points of the Gladiators. Pat Nagle was back with Florida and sat backup. He was backup to Riku Helenius on Friday night for AHL Syracuse. He was returned to the ECHL when Cedrick Desjardins arrived in Syracuse after being acquired for Dustin Tokarski earlier this week.

Florida and Gwinnett meet again on Sunday afternoon.

Florida skated out to 2-0 and 4-1 leads and cruised a 5-2 win over Greenville on Friday night. Mathieu Roy had a hat trick for the visitors.

The ‘Blades were without Lightning prospects Charles Landry, Alex Hutchings, and Pat Nagle, all of whom were with the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch. Hutchings had his first Syracuse goal on Friday against Binghamton. Daniel Milan remained with Florida, but did not record a point on Friday. His shot was the rookie’s 15th shot on goal of the season in 31 games.

Florida (25-17-4-5) pulled within six points of Greenville for second in the South Division. Gwinnett leads with 67 points, eight ahead of the Everblades. Florida is currently the Eastern Conference’s sixth seed.

Florida rallied back after falling behind 2-0 in the first minute of the second period but South Carolina scored late in the third period to earn its third-straight victory and pull within a point of the visiting Everblades in the South division standings. After going scoreless over the past six games, Dan Milan registered a secondary assist on Brody Sutter's second-period goal which tied the game heading into the final frame. Pat Nagle is now 1-1 with a shootout loss in five February appearances. Florida (24-17-9, 57 PTS) continues its road trip against Greenville (29-17-5, 63 PTS) on Friday night.

Orlando avenged a Thursday night loss to the Everblades by rallying from a 3-0 deficit and winning in a shootout on Saturday. Orlando came out of the gate strong, taking an early first period lead and outshooting Florida 11-6 but the Everblades were quickly able to counter and later tack on a couple strikes in the middle frame while, buoyed by the solid play of netminder Pat Nagle, keeping the Solar Bears offense at bay for the remainder of the game in order to secure the road win. Nagle, who stopped all but one of thirty-five shots on goal, earned the game's third star. After being held scoreless against Greenville, Alex Hutchings returned to the scoresheet with a helper on Leigh Salters' game-tying goal. Maxime Langelier-Parent and Charles Landry, who remains in Syracuse with the Crunch, were out of the lineup. Florida (23-16-8, 54 PTS) and Orlando (21-23-5, 47 PTS) square off again Friday night at the Amway Center.

Greenville broke a 1-1 tie past the midpoint of the first period and never looked back, padding their lead with five more goals over the course of the second and third period for a resounding divisional road win over Florida. The Everblades managed forty-five shots but had difficulty cracking Scott Stajcer, the Road Warriors' netminder. Matt Pistilli, whom Florida acquired from South Carolina in late December, had Florida's only goal. A night after getting yanked himself, it was Pat Nagle who entered the game in relief of Rob Madore, who allowed five goals on twenty-nine shots. After combining for three points the night before, both Alex Hutchings and Maxime Langelier-Parent, who , . Dan Milan was scratched while Charles Landry, who was also inactive, remains in Syracuse with the Crunch. Florida (22-16-8, 52 PTS) will next head across the state to begin a two-game set against divisional foe Orlando (21-22-5, 47 PTS) on Thursday.

Maxime Langelier-Parent, the game's second star, was back in the lineup for the first time since the second game of the season and helped lead Florida's comeback attempt that came up just short when Trenton's Mike Ullrich scored the game-winner with a half-minute remaining in overtime. The Everblades roared back a 4-1 deficit, scoring two shorthanded goals on the same Trenton power play in the process, in a roughly six-minute span that stretched the tail end of the second period and start of the the final frame. Pat Nagle started but did not factor into the decision as he was pulled just past the halfway point of the match. Alex Hutchings, who now has points in eight of his last nine games he's played in, scored Florida's second shorthanded tally late in the second period to pull the home squad within a goal when, while streaking into the slot, Mike Ratchuk hit him with a feed that he quickly fired past Titans netminder Scott Wedgewood. Defenseman Charles Landry remains in Syracuse with the Crunch. Florida (22-15-8, 52 PTS) closes out its home stand with a Saturday night match against Greenville (28-16-2, 60 PTS), which is currently atop the Souh division standings.

Florida followed up its pasting of Greenville this past Sunday with another stirring victory at home, working its way to a commanding 5-0 lead while keeping Trenton off the board until late in the final period. Pat Nagle, who earned the game's third star, delivered a statistical duplicate of his last performance, stopping nearly everything thrown his way en route to earning his 11th victory of the season. Nagle's save percentage, which has hovered below .900 for much of the season, has quietly crept to more respectable territory. Alex Hutchings followed up a two-point effort against the Road Warriors with a goal, which came off a rebound late in the second period while on the power play and put the Everblades up 4-0, and an assist. Hutchings is now back within striking distance of point-per-game territory. Defenseman Charles Landry remains in Syracuse with the Crunch. Florida (22-15-7, 51 PTS) and Trenton (17-21-6, 40 PTS), which remains at the bottom of the Atlantic division, are back at it Friday night in Estero.
