Hutchings’ 34th goal of the year, scored late in the first period, turned out to be the game-winner for the Colts. It also tied a career high in goals for Hutchings, set last season in 63 games. He’s 11 points off his career high for points, also set in those 63 games. Hutchings scored on fellow Lightning prospect Michael Zador, who played well against the conference’s best team. Zador, who has been streaky all year, is currently mired in a five-game losing skid.

He’s one goal off his career high for goals (34), set that same year.

This was Hutchings’ third All-Star Game appearance, and he made the most of it, scoring once in each period and adding two assists. Niagara's Andrew Agozzino had four goals and was named Player of the Game for the East. Hutchings’ Barrie teammate Alex Pietrangelo was plus-9 in the game with four assists. Likely No.1 overall pick in 2010 Taylor Hall had just one assist for the West.

Even with the point, 10th place Regina is seven points back of Prince Albert for the eighth spot in the conference - with Swift Current in ninth.

Wright, who is still trying to find his place in the lineup, is looking for his first WHL goal of the season. He had 21 in 71 games last season.
