After a 22-game win streak, Barrie has now lost two of their last four games. Barrie announced the acquisition of Alex Pietrangelo earlier in the day, but he did not play in the game. Pietrangelo was just reassigned to the OHL by the St. Louis Blues after he won Best Defenseman honors at the World Junior Championships.

It was Jordan Eberle and Colton Teubert Day in Regina, honoring the Pats' two Canadian WJC stars, but despite outshooting the Warriors 37-25, the Pats lost. Eberle was -3 and Teubert -1 with an assist. Ashton, who started the game off the top line, is approaching his career high in penalty minutes (93), set last season in 70 games.

Barrie is expected to announce the acquisition of Alex Pietrangelo, who was released back to major junior by the St. Louis Blues after being named the top defenseman at the world junior championship while playing for Team Canada.

D Mark Barberio, MCT: Did not play (suspended)

Barberio was suspended as punishment for a spearing incident in his last game. This game was originally to be played November 5. The game was canceled because a large amount of Moncton players were suffering from the flu.

Panik to Join DeCoste in Belleville

The Belleville Bulls are reporting they have acquired Lightning 2009 second rounder Richard Panik in a seven player trade with Windsor.
Panik, Austen Brassard, defenseman Paul Bezzo, and goaltender Steve Gleeson were sent to Belleville with Owen Sound’s third round pick in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection, Owen Sound’s second round pick in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection and Windsor’s seventh round pick in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection for goaltender Philipp Grubauer, defenseman Marc Cantin, and forward Stephen Johnston to Windsor.
