Moose Jaw put six forwards on the ice after pulling their goalie late in the game, but they couldn’t find the tying goal. They came close a few times, including once where Point was in front but couldn’t bat an airborne puck into the net. Moose Jaw retired Ryan Smyth’s jersey before the game. Smyth’s son was reportedly mostly interested in meeting Point because of his performance at the World Junior tournament.
