J.T. Brown assisted on Justin Abdelkader's game opening goal and Nate Thompson tallied his second goal of the tournament in USA's 5-3 win over Belarus. Brown was +2 with 1 shot in 10:09 and his 14 shifts were nearly triple the number he played in the 3 prior games of the tournament. Thompson was +1 with 1 shot in 10:44. USA draws Kazakhstan on Friday.
