Ryan Getzlaf scored at 8:02 of the Third Period to snap a 2-2 tie and help Canada sneak away with a 3-2 win over Switzerland. Teddy Purcell was scoreless in 9:38 in the match. Canada gets Finland next on Friday. The Canadians hold a 1 point lead on Finland for the top spot in Group H.

Sweden 5 @ Germany 2
Victor Hedman was scoreless in 22:55 in Sweden's 5-2 thumping of Germany. Sweden outshot and outclassed Germany 45-17 in the contest. Sweden gets Russia next on Friday. The Swedes hold a 3 point lead on the Russians for the top spot in Group S.
