Mike Angelidis and Chris Durno were the game's second and third stars.

Norfolk managed to move to within 6 points of first place Wilke-Barre/Scranton, but they now have Charlotte just 2 points behind and Hershey three points behind with the Pens and Bears coming up on the schedule. It was fairly critical for the Admirals to have good showings against the Checkers at home and they failed to get 2 points on either night and have actually fallen behind Charlotte and Hershey now in wins. In other words, they're chosing to do things the hard way, which is dangerous.
