Barberio Suspended

Today the QMJHL announced that Lightning prospect and Moncton Wildcats defenseman Mark Barberio has been suspended one game for spearing an opponent during last Sunday’s game against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles.

According to the league, the decision was made after reviewing a videotape of the incident and after consulting all concerned parties.
