Bolts Cut 18 from Camp Roster

TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning have reduced their training camp roster by 18 today, vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced. The Lightning’s camp roster now sits at 40, with 23 forwards, 14 defensemen and three goaltenders.

Forward Henri Ikonen and defenseman Slater Koekkoek were reassigned to their respective OHL junior teams of Kingston and Windsor. The following 16 players were reassigned to Syracuse (AHL):

Forwards: Brady Brassart, Danick Gauthier, Max Langelier-Parent, Eric Neilson, Drew Olson, Evan Rankin, and Tanner Richard
Defensemen: Charles Landry, Dan Milan, Joey Mormina, Nikita Nesterov, Carl Nielsen, Artem Sergeev, and Luke Witkowski
Goalies: Cedrick Desjardins and Riku Helenius

The Syracuse Crunch will open training camp on Tuesday, September 24 in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
