Bolts get Meszaros

TSN.ca is reporting that Ottawa has traded Andre Meszaros to Tampa Bay for Kuba, Picard, and the 1st round pick they got from San Jose. While picking up franchise D-Man like Meszaros is a great pick up, I don't understand why some of the extra forwards Tampa has weren't involved instead. I'm not upset about giving up the 1st round pick or Kuba, but Picard is a young guy who came in here and turned some heads at the end of last year. I was looking forward to seeing him progress and develop in our system. TSN.ca is also reporting that the Bolts will in turn sign Meszaros to a reported 6 year deal worth about $4 million a year.
