Fortier scored the first of two Drakkar goals in the middle of the second period and Baie-Comeau made them stand up for a 2-1 home win Saturday. Yaroslav Alexeyev (undrafted) had the game-winner, his 23rd goal of the season. The Drakkar improved to 30-9-2-1 and move two points ahead of Halifax for first overall on the league table.

Tristan Côté-Cazenave (undrafted) stopped 42 of 42 shots to steal a road win for the Tigres, 2-0 over Rimouski. The Oceanic outshot Victoriaville 42-15 for the game. Radim Salda had four of those shots. Côté-Cazenave was a prospect camp invitee of the Pittsburgh Penguins last summer. He improved to 9-10 for the season. This was his first shutout of the year.
