QMJHL

Note: Lightning prospect defenseman Mark Barberio has been named to Team QMJHL for the 2009 Subway Super Series vs. Team Russia. This will be Barberio's first appearance in the annual all-star event. The QMJHL portion of the series begins November 16. Russia will then play Team OHL and Team WHL. Rosters for the latter two have yet to be announced.

DeCoste returned to the lineup, but it wasn’t enough to keep the Soo from losing their sixth straight game. Niagara scored the winner with just under five minutes left in the third period.

Hutchings did not take part in the shootout for Barrie.

Windsor scored three first period goals en route to a 5-2 win over rival London.
