Cajkovic (lower-body injury) has not played in a week and has missed all but three games. Oscar Plandowski was scoreless for Charlottetown. The rookie and 2021 draft-eligible righty defenseman is the son of Lightning head scout Darryl Plandowski. Oscar has one assist in 11 games so far this year on the island. He had 53 points in 48 games last year in midget en route to being a first round QMJHL pick of Chicoutimi. He was later traded to Charlottetown for a 2020 first and 2022 second round pick.

Baie-Comeau lost again Friday, falling on the road to the Sags, 4-2. Fortier had an assist for his 10th point of the young season. The Drakkar (3-7-2) are tied for the third-worst point total in the league and Fortier could find himself in another uniform come the trade deadline if things don’t improve. This is his final year of junior hockey.

Schmiemann scored his second goal of the season and added an assist as Kamloops shut out the visiting Giants, 6-0. Zane Franklin (undrafted) had a hat trick for the Blazers and Dylan Garand (2020) made 23 saves for the goose egg.
