Adam Erne had a hat trick for the second consecutive game as the Remparts beat the Titan in overtime, 5-4. Erne’s third goal was the overtime winner. He had a hat trick and an assist on Sunday and now has 10 goals in nine games on the season. On Friday, Quebec had a 4-1 lead in the third period that they couldn’t hold on to. Erne’s heroics secured the two road points. He was named second star in a classic example of homerism.

DeAngelo was named first star for his efforts on Friday in a shootout loss to the Bulls. Belleville had beaten Sarnia, 3-2, in Belleville last weekend with a last-minute goal. Sarnia continues to compete for wins, something they didn’t do last year. Brett Welychka had two assists for the Bulls. He was a Lightning camper in 2013 while he was with the London Knights.
