Vasily Koshechkin got off the bench and promptly pulled off the rare shootout shutout win stopping 33 shots and both shooters he faced in Cherepovets' 1-0 win over Khanty-Mansiysk. Koshechkin has spent most of the last month in the backup role behind Vadim Tarasov. Cherepovets will draw Spartak Moscow next on Tuesday.
