The Armada improved to 10-0 on the year with a close win in Halifax. Jonathan Drouin missed the game with a groin injury, and is considered day-to-day. He tweaked his groin in practice on Thursday.

Kingston came out flying, scoring five goals on 20 shots in the first period alone, then coasting to a 10-1 blowout win. Henri Ikonen had two assists. No one on the Fronts had more than three points. Righthanded, puck-moving defenseman Roland McKeown of Kingston, who is one to keep an eye on for Tampa Bay at next summer’s draft, had a goal and was plus-5.
