Drouin had a goal and two assists to pace the Mooseheads to a 4-2 win over visiting Charlottetown, coached by former Lightning player Gordie Dwyer. The Islanders came into the game among the league leaders in points. Drouin has six points in his last three games.

Ikonen had his nine-game point streak snapped, as well as his streak of six games with at least two points and two games with at least four points. It was his first game of the season in which he failed to hit the scoresheet. He also had his shootout attempt saved as Dylan Blujus and North Bay won at home, 3-2 in an extra-extra tiebreaker. Blujus played just his second game of the season after missing the first few weeks due to knee surgery.
