Broadcast on FSN Northwest, this game was a lot closer than the final score indicates. It was 2-1 entering the third period as Portland had just beaten Tokarski on a 5 on 3 power play to cut Spokane’s second period lead in half. The goal was scored with 12 seconds left in the period when a slap shot from the top of the right circle found its way through Tokarski. Spokane outshot Portland 32-31 in the game. Tokarski was interviewed after the second period by FSN. He remains the WHL leader in GAA and save percentage.

He last scored a goal on December 27.
