Call it the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. Spokane had leads of 4-1 after one period, 8-1 after two, and scored the game’s final three goals to hit 11 after three periods. It was the most goals Spokane has scored at home, but 5 short of their record 16, set against Moose Jaw last year (16-7 win). Tokarski won his 70th career game for Spokane. Jung missed his third game with a head injury. Chief’s defenseman Jared Spurgeon (Islanders) had a goal and four assists, with a plus-5 rating for Spokane.
