In other OHL news, (Future Bolt?) John Tavares had a hat trick for London on Sunday to break the all-time OHL record for goals in a career. The Knights beat Windsor 4-3. Tavares tied Peter Lee's career mark of 213 goals when he opened the scoring less than five minutes into the game. He set the new record with his second goal of the game midway through the third period and then scored the game winner on a powerplay with less than two minutes left in the game. Tavares now has 215 goals with two games left in this, his fourth and likely final OHL season. Lee set the previous mark in the early 1970s for Ottawa. Ex-Lightning and Detroit Viper Stan Drulia is third on the all-time list with 198 for Niagara Falls, Hamilton, and Belleville (1984-89).
