NA Juniors Game Night: 9-23-12

Ontario Hockey League

Brampton Battalion 1 @ Sudbury Wolves 4

D Dylan Blujus, BRAM: 0-0-0, -1, 0 PIM
Season totals: 2 GP, 0-1-1, -1, 0 PIM

This was a 2-0 game until two minutes left in the third period when Sudbury scored into an empty net while shorthanded. That gave Blujus his minus-1 for the night. The Battalion ended up scoring about 20 seconds later on the power play, then gave up another empty netter. Nathan Pancel, who finished fourth in OHL rookie scoring last year but went undrafted in June, had two goals for Sudbury.

London Knights 8 @ Guelph Storm 2

C/W Tanner Richard, GUE: 0-0-0, -1, 4 PIM (hooking, roughing)
Season totals: 2 GP, 0-1-1, -1, 4 PIM

The London machine came into Guelph and put up an early autumn snowman. Former Lightning camper and 2012 Boston draft pick Seth Griffith (pictured) had two goals to give him five in the first two games of the season. Lightning prospect Tanner Richard roughed it up with Griffith in the second period and both were sent to the box for two minutes. Leafs pick Ryan Rupert had four helpers for the Knights.

Lightning junior prospects are off until Thursday.
