NCAA Game Night: 10/30
NCAA
Harvard Crimson 5 @ Dartmouth Big Green 3
C/W Alexander Killorn, HAR: 2-1-3, +2, 0 PIM, 3 SOG, *First Star*
Harvard’s regular and conference season debut was a good one for both the team and Killorn. The sophomore scored twice and added an assist in the second period to turn a 1-0 deficit into a 3-1 lead. His assist came on a goal by Canadien’s first rounder Louis Leblanc.
No.10 Vermont Catamounts 1 @ Maine Black Bears 4
C/W Matt Marshall , UVM: 1-0-1, +1, 2 PIM (hitting from behind), 1 SOG
Season totals: 5 GP, 1-1-2, +1, 2 PIM
Marshall scored his second career goal and first of the season, but No.10 Vermont struggled overall against the Black Bears in Orono. Marshall’s goal came on a slap shot from the right circle that beat the goalie through his five-hole.
Western Michigan Broncos 1 @ No.20 Michigan State Spartans 2
D Luke Witkowski , UWM: 0-1-1, E, 2 PIM (high sticking)
Season totals: 5 GP, 0-1-1, -2, 6 PIM
Witkowski’s first collegiate point came on the power play. He fired a slap shot that was saved, but the Broncos scored on the rebound to make the score 2-1 in the third period.

Boom Goes the Dynamite (Killorn)
Dartmouth stinks, mind you, but a 3 point night is nothing but awesome. I could see Killorn sniffing around 1.5 points per game this season, at which point the Lightning will be begging him to sign a contract, I'm sure.
