Adam Wilcox started for the second-straight night, but unlike Friday, he couldn’t keep his team tied long enough for the Gophers to win the game. On Saturday, the teams were tied 3-3 until the Mavs scored the eventual game-winner with under four minutes left in regulation. They added an empty net goal late. This was Wilcox’s first collegiate loss in five games.
