Minnesota and North Dakota renewed an old-time rivalry Friday in an entertaining 5-5 tie. UND had scored with just under two minutes left in regulation to take a 5-4 lead before the Gophers scored with an extra attacker 41 seconds later. Tommy Novak (Predators) had two goals for the Gophers. Avalanche first rounder Tyson Jost had a goal and three points for the former Fighting Sioux.
