On Friday night these two teams entered the third period tied 0-0 before Denver got a goal. On Saturday night, they entered the final frame tied 1-1, but Minnesota exploded for four goals in the period to win, 4-1. Adam Wilcox (pictured) stopped 31 shots for his 21st win of his first collegiate season. Minnesota is two points behind St. Cloud State for first in the WCHA with a two-game set scheduled for next weekend against Bemidji State.
