Season totals: 23 GP, 1-6-7, +13, 12 PIM

Upset city, baby! Cornell got an overtime winner from undrafted Rodger Craig (no, not that Roger Craig) to propel Cornell into the Midwest Regional finals against Ferris State, who beat Denver, 2-1.

No. 13 UMass-Lowell Riverhawks 4 vs. No. 7 Miami RedHawks 3 (OT)
NCAA East Regional Semifinal

F Jimmy Mullin, MIA: 0-0-0, E, 0 PIM, 1 SOG
Season totals: 37 GP, 11-15-26, +17, 10 PIM

Another upset. The Riverhawks skated out to a 3-0 lead entering the third period before Miami decided to play, outshooting UML 18-8 in the final frame while scoring three times. Miami even had a five minute power play to end regulation, but they couldn’t get the game winner. That was scored by UML’s Riley Wetmore (undrafted), 2:13 into overtime. UML will face Union in the East Region finals for the right to go to the Frozen Four in Tampa. Union knocked off Michigan State, 3-1. Mullin ends an outstanding freshman season with 11 goals and 26 points. He spent the majority of the year on the RedHawks’ top line and will be relied upon for his offense next season in Oxford.
