Just a freshman, Wilcox backstopped the Gophers to a share of the WCHA regular season title as Minnesota beat Bemidji State, 5-1, on Saturday. The Gophers’ win, combined with a St. Cloud State loss in Wisconsin, made Minnesota co-champions.
