TB- Point, Stamkos

Nikita Kucherov, Steven Stamkos, and Anthony Cirelli were the game's three stars.

This was a game where the Lightning were within an eyelash of seeing Jonathan Quick steal two points from them and thankfully they were able to manufacture a big goal. And, really, I can't tell you how much I love that after years of nothingness the Lightning are finally starting to generate goals regularly off of faceoffs again. The last few years Lecavalier was with the team it was a real staple but it hasn't been there for this generation, but it's a fantastically cheap way to get possession, goals, and scoring chances and can pay big dividends in the playoffs.

Carter Verhaeghe was -1 in 8:08.

Mitchell Stephens had 1 shot and 1 hit and was 60% on five draws in 8:54.

Alexander Volkov had a helper, his first NHL point, 4 penalty minutes and 1 shot in 8:57.
