Kevin Shattenkirk was the game's third star.

Three straight games now where the Lightning were on even terms midway through the contest and lost their bearings and ended up taking the L. And, not coincidentally, three games where the Lightning got burned by the opposition power play and by some bad puck management. There's no doubt in my mind the Lightning are a better team with Coleman and Goodrow added and with Bogosian as depth, but it's going to take time to get the right chemistry and to get settled back into the simple mindset the team rode to a couple of big winning streaks already this season.
