Janosik had a power play assist as Gatineau built up a 5-0 lead by the end of the second period. Val-d’Or, who beat the Olympiques Friday night, scored four times in the third before Gatineau added an empty netter.

Playing in his home state, Namestnikov scored his second of the year in the third period to help his Knights teammates to a 6-3 win over Plymouth. Seth Griffith, a member of the Lightning for the Coral Springs prospects tournament, had a goal and three assists for First Star honors. Griffith leads the Knights in scoring with four goals and nine points in four games.
