Though they are playing the eight seed, any road win is tough in the playoffs and London got a big one on Sunday in Windsor. Case in point is London was down 2-0 to the Spits before roaring back with three goals. Lightning camper Seth Griffith had his first two goals of the playoffs for London. He had 45 in the regular season. Game 3 is Monday in London.

Boone Jenner (Blue Jackets) had a hat trick and two assists, and 2012 eligible Scott Laughton had two goals and two helpers to lead Oshawa to a much-needed win in Niagara. Keep Laughton’s name in mind when the Lightning are picking in the second round. Islanders 2011 first rounder Ryan Strome had two goals and an assist for Niagara. The Ice Dogs had crushed the Gens in games one and two of the series 8-2 and 6-1 and put up 50 shots in Game 3. Lightning prospect Geoffrey Schemitsch (pictured) had his first two points of the postseason for Oshawa. Game 4 is Tuesday in Oshawa.
