Report: Bolts Eyeing Blueline Prospect Dmitri Korobov

A report has surfaced that the Tampa Bay Lightning may have some interest in 22 year old Belarusian defenseman Dmitri Korobov. The 6'5", 229lb blueliner recently turned some heads at the 2010-11 World Championships when he finished 2nd among defenseman in scoring with 2 goals and 3 assists in 6 games for the Belarus National team. Prior to the 2011-10 World Championships, Korobov has played 43 games for the KHL's Dynamo Minsk pro team, recording 1 goal and 9 assists, but had somewhat of a breakout in the 2010-11 KHL playoffs by notching a goal and two assists in 6 playoff games. The Lightning organization had no comment on the validity of their reported interest in Korobov.
