This was quite a turnaround for Spokane, who was badly outshot in Games 1 and 2 in Vancouver. They limited the Giants to just 18 shots Tuesday night (2 in the third period), while managing 27 of their own. Tokarski reportedly made a huge save on a goalmouth scramble just before Drayson Bowman (Hurricanes) scored the eventual game winner. Tokarski, who has been a game star in each Chief playoff win so far, also earned a secondary assist on the game tying goal. Wright was kept off scoresheet for just the second game of his 2009 playoffs. The Giants held a 2-1 lead after one period. To say that this game was huge for Spokane is an understatement. The beat Vancouver for the first time all season and were able to start the climb back into the series. Game 4 is Wednesday in Spokane.
