Florida outshot the K-Wings 38-19, including 16-1 in the second period, yet the ‘Blades came up on the losing end in Game 2, falling 3-2 in Kalamazoo. Florida, who got a shutout from Lightning prospect Pat Nagle in Game 1, held a 1-0 lead entering the third period. The K-Wings scored twice in just under two minutes to take a 2-1 lead, but Florida replied with a Matt Beca goal assisted by Lightning prospect Sebastien Piche (pictured) at 15:01. Two and a half minutes later the K-Wings scored the game winner and secured the Game 2 win, regaining home ice advantage. The series now shifts to southwest Florida for games 3-5. Nagle faced seven shots through two periods. He allowed three goals on 12 shots in the final stanza. Game 3 is Wednesday.
