Bioshock 2 is in my pile of games to play, then I will buy Bioshock infinite, but after reading things like this and viewing the trailers....I think I want to hurry up!

Bioshock 1 is necessary, but 2 is optional. Infinite is the "sequel" to the first, even though the stories are almost completely independent.

Mmmmm, Arkham Origins.

If you haven't played it yet, the Tomb Raider reboot is amazingly well done. Quite a welcome surprise. I dare say it outdoes Uncharted, a game which outdoes the original Tomb Raiders.

Infinite is more of a spiritual successor instead of a direct sequel. Infinite takes place in 1912 while Bioshock is set in the 60's.
