Jokerit property Saku Salminen was cut from the team's KHL roster toward the end of preseason and it is yet to be determined where he will play this season. Last season, Jokerit loaned Salminen to SM-liiga side HPK for the 2014-2015 campaign. The Finnish league's regular season is slated to begin on 9-11-15.

    The loss may be the end of the road for Janus on Bolt Prospects, as he appears unlikely to have his rights retained past this summer.
