    SM-Liiga (Finland)
    Ilves 0 @ Pelicans 1 (OT)

    Anders Lindback, Ilves, L, 0.00 GAA, 29/29 (1.000 SV%)
    Season totals: 10 GP, 2-6-2, 1 SO, 2.93 GAA, 311/341 (.912 SV%)

Ondrej Pavelec and Anders Lindback, who started his tenth-straight game and his second match in as many nights, pitched dual shutouts Saturday night in a match that had to be decided by shootout. Timo Parssinen scored the game-winner for Pelicans. Lindback, who preserved his shutout by stopping a scoring chance for one-time Lightning forward Radek Smolenak in the last minute of regulation, continues to be victimized by weak goal support; Ilves has averaged just 1.8 goals per game in all of his starts and scored just once in the past three matches. It bears repeating that, if not for getting lit up (7 goals allowed on 39 shots) in his second start by SaiPa, Lindback would have a .924 SV%, which would currently be top-five in the league, and a 2.49 GAA. He's put together an impressive body of work, all things considered. Ilves (4-16-3-4, 22 points) return to action on Wednesday against Tappara (12-10-3-4, 46 points).
