A four-point night for Drouin is what Halifax fans have come to expect in the last two seasons. Drouin was 4/11 in the faceoff circle.

    A day after the Huskies gave up 15 goals to Jonathan Drouin’s Halifax Mooseheads, they held Adam Erne’s Remparts to just one goal in a 6-1 win. Erne continues to wrack up assists this season. He has at least a point in 14 of his 17 games, but only four multi-point games.

    The Huskies and Mooseheads each scored four goals in the first period and Rouyn-Noranda was probably feeling fairly good about themselves. Then they allowed 11 more goals to lose, 15-5. No one on Halifax had more than two goals in the game. While some players were plus-6 and plus-7, Drouin finished even. He was 3/19 in the faceoff circle.

    Quebec is without a regulation loss in 10 games after their shootout win over the visiting Drakkar on Wednesday night. Adam Erne had an assist and led the team in hits with five. He was 16/26 on faceoffs. Erne was Quebec’s second shooter in the skills competition, but his attempt was saved. Erne was not named to the Subway Super Series roster as he is American and the match-up is between Canadian and Russian players.

Ikonen scored his seventh goal of the year just 33 seconds into Tuesday night’s game. He later assisted on Sam Watson’s power play marker in the third period to give the Fronts the lead for good.

He has three assists in his last seven games. He is plus-10 on the season after finishing previous years with struggling Peterborough squad, minus-24, minus-7, and minus-29.

    Drouin had three points for the second consecutive game and earned First Star as the Moose scored a big road win against the Titan, 5-2. Halifax outshot A-B, 44-17. Drouin tweeted earlier in the day that tonight was a big game for his club. The defending Memorial Cup champs are 8-2 in their last 10 games and are within three points of Blainville-Boisbriand for the top of the table.

    Dotchin (pictured) broke an eight-game scoreless streak with a goal and two assists – all in the first 12 minutes of the hockey game. His goal came while shorthanded. Dotchin’s three points in one game ties a career high, set twice before. He accomplished it last December and in February of 2011 during his rookie season. His plus-4 rating on the night is a new career high for one game.

Blujus played just his second game of the season after missing the first few weeks due to knee surgery.
