    USHL

Green Bay Gamblers 4 @ Sioux City Musketeers 1

G Adam Wilcox, GB: Did not play (backup)
    Season Totals: 3-1-0, 3.26 GAA, .885 sv%, 0 SO

Wilcox sat backup to Ryan McKay for the second night in a row. Green Bay is running with ECHL All-Star McKay (and rightly so), therefore Wilcox’s best chance for meaningful starts may be a trade. McKay was "supposed" to be at Miami-Ohio right now, but Miami's departing goaltender decided not to depart. The trickle-down effect has Wilcox watching games instead of backstopping one of the USHL's top teams.

    QMJHL

    Rouyn-Noranda Huskies 1 @ Gatineau Olympiques 6

    Season Totals: 13 GP, 0-9-9, -2, 13 PIM

Gatineau is starting to find their groove at home with two big wins in two nights. Janosik is scoreless in four of his last five games after notching an assist in four of the five games before this latest streak.

    OHL

Oshawa Generals 2 @ Owen Sound Attack 6

D Geoffrey Schemitsch, OS: 0-1-1, +1, 4 PIM (holding, holding the stick)
    Season Totals: 14 GP, 0-5-5, -1, 12 PIM

Schemitsch (pictured) has a two-game point streak. He has eight penalty minutes in those two games after coming into the weekend with just four on the year.

    QMJHL

    Drummondville Voltigeurs 0 @ Gatineau Olympiques 3

    D Adam Janosik, GAT: 0-0-0, +1, 0 PIM, 1 SOG, 0 Hits
    Season Totals: 12 GP, 0-9-9, -2, 11 PIM

The Volts thought they had a chance to get both Sean Couturier and Ondrej Palat back this season, but with Palat signed by the Lightning and Couturier now staying in Philadelphia with the Flyers, they won’t get either.

    PEI Rocket 3 @ Moncton Wildcats 2

    D Daniel Milan, MON: 0-0-0, E, 0 PIM, 1 SOG, 0 Hits
    Season Totals: 13 GP, 0-3-3, -5, 13 PIM

Despite playing most of the year with Coyotes first rounder Brandon Gormley (12 points in 13 games) on the back line, Milan is having a slow start to the year statistically. Dane Phaneuf, brother of the Leafs’ Dion Phaneuf, had an assist for PEI in the game Friday.

    Season Totals: 15 GP, 9-10-19, +9, 14 PIM

In the first match-up of Lightning prospects in the OHL this season, Vladislav Namestnikov (pictured) set up two goals, including the overtime winner, as London beat Geoffrey Schemitsch and Owen Sound 3-2. Both of Namestnikov’s assists came on goals by Lightning prospect camp participant Seth Griffith. Namestnikov has three multi-point games in a row now, and a five game point streak overall.

    OHL

London Knights 4 @ Kitchener Rangers 5 (SO)

C Vladislav Namestnikov, LDN: 2-0-2, +2, 0 PIM, *Second Star*
    Season Totals: 14 GP, 10-7-17, +8, 14 PIM

Namestnikov scored twice in 31 seconds in the third period – the first of which was highlight reel material – to bring the Knights back from a 4-2 deficit to force overtime. After OT finished without a winner, Namestnikov was London’s last shooter and needed to convert to extend the shootout one more round, but did not score. He has four goals and five points in his last two games and seven points in his last four. He is on pace for 48 goals. Namestnikov scored 30 last season.

Sudbury Wolves 2 @ Owen Sound Attack 1 (SO)

    D Geoffrey Schemitsch, OS: 0-0-0, E, 0 PIM

    OHL

Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 7 @ Owen Sound Attack 4

Milan broke a personal seven-game scoreless streak with two helpers Friday night, but it wasn’t enough for Moncton to beat the Sags. Milan had a shorthanded assist on the Wildcats’ second goal, which cut the Sags lead to 3-2 with half a period to go, but Moncton couldn’t complete the comeback.
