    Season Totals: 44 GP, 1-6-7, -13, 43 PIM
    With Victoriaville: 11 GP, 1-1-2, E, 12 PIM

    Season Totals: 36 GP, 5-20-25, -3, 34 PIM

The CHL’s main site didn’t list any Tuesday games on their front page so this slipped through the cracks. It’s a shame because we nearly missed Milan’s first goal of the year. He had 14 last season as a rookie with Moncton and hadn’t scored since last year’s playoffs. Janosik had two goals and an assist in the most productive (statistically) game of his QMJHL career.

Here is Janosik's first goal of the game:

    OHL

    Kitchener Rangers 8 @ London Knights 3

    C Vladislav Namestnikov, LDN: 0-1-1, -3, 0 PIM
    Season Totals: 43 GP, 17-36-53, +12, 38 PIM

Kitchener embarrassed their division rivals and Namestnikov (pictured) on Wednesday night, 8-3. Namestnikov was stripped of the puck while on the power play early, leading to the first Rangers goal. Former Lightning camper Seth Griffith had two goals (33, 34) for London, who outshot Kitchener 48-35. Namestnikov’s minus-3 rating tied a career worst for the Lightning’s 2011 first rounder, set last January 28 in a 6-4 loss to Erie. London is now “only” eight points up on Kitchener for first in the Midwest Division.

    QMJHL

    Baie-Comeau Drakkar 1 @ Victoriaville Tigres 8

    D Daniel Milan, VIC: 0-0-0, E, 0 PIM, 0 SOG, 0 Hits
    Season Totals: 40 GP, 0-6-6, -13, 35 PIM
    With Victoriaville: 7 GP, 0-1-1, E, 4 PIM
    With Moncton: 33 GP, 0-5-5, -13, 31 PIM

The Tigres built a snowman on the scoreboard at home on Sunday with an 8-1 win over the Drakkar. Brandon Hynes (undrafted) had four goals and an assist for Victoriaville. He was a Lightning camper and member of the Bolts' Traverse City team in 2010. Milan’s scoreless and shotless streak reached five games.

    OHL

London Knights 6 @ Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 2

    C Vladislav Namestnikov, LDN: 0-1-1 E, 2 PIM (roughing)
    Season Totals: 39 GP, 17-33-50, +14, 38 PIM

Namestnikov extended his point streak to four games with an assist Sunday in the Soo against USA World Juniors goaltender Jack Campbell (Stars). London scored twice on the power play and twice shorthanded – including a penalty shot by Ryan Rupert (2012). Lightning camper Seth Griffith had a goal and two assists for First Star honors. The story has been told many times, but once again the Bolts let Griffith go back to London after the south Florida rookie tournament and before Lightning training camp started. He was listed on the official Lightning camp roster. Griffith exploded this year and one London media member told me he is “the real deal.” If the Lightning are to get him in camp next year, they’ll have to draft him as Griffith will enter the NHL draft for a second straight year. He went undrafted in 2011. That won't happen again. Griffith is fourth in the league with 61 points (32 goals) in 42 games. Namestnikov is tied for 13th. Griffith is second in goals and his linemate, Namestnikov, is fifth in assists.

    Sudbury Wolves 3 @ Oshawa Generals 2

    D Geoffrey Schemitsch, OSH: 0-0-0, E, 0 PIM
    Season Totals: 30 GP, 0-11-11, +1, 20 PIM
    With Oshawa: 3 GP, 0-0-0, -2, 0 PIM
    With Owen Sound: 27 GP, 0-11-11, +3, 20 PIM

Schemitsch is still looking for his first point in an Oshawa uniform.

G Adam Wilcox, TC: Did not play (backup)
    Season Totals (with Tri-City): 9 GP, 3-6-0, 3.54 GAA, .902 sv%, 1 SO
    Season Totals (with Green Bay): 9 GP, 7-2-0, 2.27 GAA, .918 sv%, 2 SO

Tri-City lost their second consecutive game to Fargo in as many days. After taking the loss in an 8-1 thrashing Friday night, Wilcox was on the bench Saturday. The Storm are alone in the Western Conference cellar with 22 points. They have the third fewest points in the league.

    OHL

London Knights 5 @ Saginaw Spirit 4 (SO)

    C Vladislav Namestnikov, LDN: 0-2-2 +1, 0 PIM
    Season Totals: 38 GP, 17-32-49, +14, 36 PIM

Namestnikov (pictured) had two assists to give him five in the last three games and 16 in his last nine games to help lead London to a 5-4 shootout win in Saginaw. Predators first rounder Austin Watson, recently acquired by London, had two goals and the shootout winner for the Knights.

    USHL

    Fargo Force 8 @ Tri-City Storm 1

G Adam Wilcox, TC: Loss, 9 saves on 12 shots in 9:50
    Season Totals (with Tri-City): 9 GP, 3-6-0, 3.54 GAA, .902 sv%, 1 SO
    Season Totals (with Green Bay): 9 GP, 7-2-0, 2.27 GAA, .918 sv%, 2 SO

Wilcox took the loss in another snowman game – his second in a row. He didn’t survive the whole game in either contest. The University of Minnesota commit had won two in a row prior to the two 8-1 losses. Tri-City was outshot 47-24 at home in the loss.

    QMJHL

    Baie-Comeau Drakkar 5 @ Gatineau Olympiques 4 (SO)

    D Adam Janosik, GAT: 0-1-1, +1, 0 PIM, 2 SOG, 0 Hits
    Season Totals: 33 GP, 3-18-21, -2, 29 PIM

Janosik (pictured) had his third point in as many games Friday. He has a goal and two assists in that time span.

    Val-d’Or Foreurs 1 @ Victoriaville Tigres 6

D Daniel Milan, VIC: 0-0-0, E, 4 PIM (hooking, delay of game), 0 SOG, 0 Hits
    Season Totals: 39 GP, 0-6-6, -13, 35 PIM
    With Victoriaville: 6 GP, 0-1-1, E, 4 PIM
    With Moncton: 33 GP, 0-5-5, -13, 31 PIM

The Tigres built on their big win over Quebec Thursday night with a home win Friday night against Val-d’Or. Milan hasn’t had a shot on goal in four games. Stefan Fournier (undrafted) had a hat trick for the Tigres Friday.

    OHL

    Kingston Frontenacs 4 @ London Knights 1

    C Vladislav Namestnikov, LDN: 0-1-1 E, 2 PIM (tripping)
    Season Totals: 37 GP, 17-30-47, +13, 36 PIM

Namestnikov had an assist on Tommy Hughes’ first OHL goal, but London was shocked at home 4-1 to Kingston. With the OHL trade deadline come and gone, the Knights loaded up with skill and have a very good shot at not only winning the OHL title, but the Memorial Cup. Of course, despite all that talent they were beaten at home and the one guy who scored was a defenseman who’s never scored before. London did outshoot Kingston 50-22 in the game. World Juniors veteran Igor Bobkov (Ducks) – who played for London last season – stopped 49 shots for the Frontenacs.

Brampton Battalion 2 @ Oshawa Generals 3 (OT)

    D Geoffrey Schemitsch, OSH: 0-0-0, -1, 0 PIM
    Season Totals: 29 GP, 0-11-11, +1, 20 PIM
    With Oshawa: 2 GP, 0-0-0, -2, 0 PIM
    With Owen Sound: 27 GP, 0-11-11, +3, 20 PIM

Oshawa avenged a 6-2 loss to Brampton in their last game with an overtime win Friday night. Andy Andreoff (Kings) scored the game winner, his 16th goal of the year.

    Victoriaville Tigres 6 @ Quebec Remparts 5

    D Daniel Milan, VIC: 0-0-0, E, 0 PIM, 0 SOG, 0 Hits
    Season Totals: 38 GP, 0-6-6, -13, 31 PIM
    With Victoriaville: 5 GP, 0-1-1, E, 0 PIM
    With Moncton: 33 GP, 0-5-5, -13, 31 PIM

The Tigres beat Quebec for the second time this month, this time 6-5 in Quebec City. Milan hasn’t registered a shot or hit in two games now with his new team. Quebec was playing without star forward Mikhail Grigorenko, who was injured in the World Junior Championships while playing for Russia. He is still expected to go top-2 in this summer’s draft.

    QMJHL

    Gatineau Olympiques 5 @ Acadie-Bathurst Titan 6 (OT)

    D Adam Janosik, GAT: 0-1-1, -1, 2 PIM (unsportsmanlike conduct), 1 SOG, 0 Hits
    Season Totals: 32 GP, 3-17-20, -3, 29 PIM

New Olympiques' captain Adam Janosik (pictured earned an assist in a 6-5 overtime loss Sunday. Gatineau underwent somewhat of a sell-off as they traded away both their captain and leading scorer. Janosik remains, which is somewhat confusing as this is likely his last year in major junior. Matthew Bissonette, a 6-4 undrafted center, had two goals and two assists for the Titan on Sunday, including the overtime winner. He has exploded this year for 33 goals and 68 points in 45 games. He is not related to the Coyotes’ Paul “BizNasty” Bissonette.

    Shawinigan Cataractes 4 @ Victoriaville Tigres 2

    D Daniel Milan, VIC: 0-0-0, E, 0 PIM, 0 SOG, 0 Hits
    Season Totals: 37 GP, 0-6-6, -13, 31 PIM
    With Victoriaville: 4 GP, 0-1-1, E, 0 PIM
    With Moncton: 33 GP, 0-5-5, -13, 31 PIM

Michael Bournival, fresh off playing for Canada at the WJCs, had a goal and an assist to lead Memorial Cup host Shawinigan to a win in Victoriaville on Sunday. Bournival was drafted by Colorado but acquired by Montreal in a trade.

    OHL

    Oshawa Generals 2 @ Brampton Battalion 6

    D Geoffrey Schemitsch, OSH: 0-1-1, +1, 2 PIM (hooking)
    Season Totals: 27 GP, 0-11-11, +3, 20 PIM
    With Oshawa: 1 GP,
    With Owen Sound: 27 GP, 0-11-11, +3, 20 PIM

Schemitsch made his Oshawa debut Sunday after being traded by Owen Sound on Saturday as part of the Generals’ backline rebuilding process. He is wearing No.28 for Oshawa. Schemitsch will get a lot of looks from Lightning player development consultant Steve Thomas, whose son, Christian (Rangers) plays for the Gens. Christian Thomas scored his 18th goal of the season on Sunday.
