Sergeev’s previous career high for points in a season was 27, set in 64 games two years ago. The Foreurs are ninth of 18 clubs in the QMJHL league standings. The top 16 make the playoffs.

He missed a couple weeks after the World Junior Championships with an undisclosed injury, which was thought to be an arm or hand. Hopefully he’s not out too long, if at all.

Dotchin wasn’t around to see it as he was kicked out for a helmet infraction during his fight against Ryan Hutchinson.

Paquette had his shootout attempt saved. The Foreurs won the skills competition, 2-1. Paquette hit the 20-goal mark for the season thanks to his game-opening 2-goal effort. His goals were scored in the first five minutes of the game and staked the Armada to an early 2-0 lead. Paquette’s point streak is now at eight games. He has at least three points in three consecutive games and in four of his last five contests. He has nine three-point games in total this year.

Tanner Richard scored his seventh goal of the season on a penalty shot. He now has four goals in his last five games after starting the year with three in his first 32.
