    Dartmouth evened up the series with Harvard with an overtime win. Big Green senior, Andrew Owsiak (undrafted) scored 1:37 into the extra period to send the series to a game three Sunday night.

    Western took a 2-0 lead in the second period and held on to even the series at 1-1. The win was the first CCHA quarterfinal victory for the Broncos in 10 years. Game three is Sunday night.

    New Hampshire wins series 2-0

    Vermont gave a gallant effort to stay alive in the HEAST Tournament tying the game at the 16:26 mark of the third period. However, the Wildcats answered right back at 17:00 as senior, Mike Sislo (undrafted) scored the eventual game and series winner.

    Vermont finishes the season with a (8-20-8) record. Marshall, a junior, recorded a career high in goals with three this season and equaled last seasons total of five points. He finished the season with three points in his last four games.

    In his three year career at Vermont, Marshall has played 84 games compiling five goals and nine assists for 14 points.

    Harvard continued their hot streak winning their sixth straight as they took game one from Dartmouth in the ECAC quarterfinals. Harvard, the 10 seed, swept Clarkson in the first round to draw No. 3 seed Dartmouth.

    Killorn helped Harvard sweep the best of three first round series with Clarkson to move on to next weekends quarter finals of the ECAC Tournament.

    Vermont ended their regular season with a win over UMASS-Lowell as Marshall picked up a point for the second straight game since coming back from injury. The Catamounts secured the No. 7 seed in the Hockey East tournament, they will face No. 2 seed New Hampshire next weekend in the opening round.

    Harvard took Game one from Clarkson in the best of three series in the first round of the ECAC playoffs. The two teams play again tonight in Game two.

    Kirill Gotovets and Cornell received the 4th seed and earned a bye in the first round of the ECAC playoffs.

    UMASS-Lowell River Hawks 4 @ Vermont Catamounts 4 (OT)

    Matt Marshall scored his third of the season in his first game back from injury. Marshall missed eight games including the entire month of February. With the point earned and Providence losing last night Vermont has secured a spot in the Hockey East playoffs.

    Western finished out the regular season with a shutout win over Notre Dame. The win solidified the Broncos a forth place finish in the CCHA. Witkowski finished tied for the team lead with a +12. His eight points this season were two more than last years freshman season of six.

    St. Lawrence Saints 3 @ Harvard Crimson 4

    Harvard ended the regular season with a three game winning streak to finish 10th in the ECAC.

    Killorn led his team in goals through the regular season with 13 and finished second on the team in points. He also was tied for the team lead with a +5.

    Cornell Big Red 1 @#3 Yale Bulldogs 4

    Cornell fell to #3 Yale to close out the regular season and finish fourth in the ECAC. The Big Red are tied in points with Princeton and Rensselear but hold the tie breakers over both teams.

    Gotovets, a freshman, finished the regular season tied for second on the team with a +8.

    Vermont Catamounts 1 @ #18 Boston Terriers 3

    Vermont is now winless in five games gaining only one point out of the two game weekend series with BU. Vermont closes out their regular season next weekend with two games at home against UMASS-Lowell. The Catamounts currently sit seventh in the Hockey East Conference.

    Undrafted Brown senior David Brownschidle scored in the extra session to give the Bears a win over Cornell Friday. The Big Red scored twice in the third period to tie the game and earn a point.

    Harvard scored two first period goals and held off Brown to move out of the ECAC cellar, one point ahead of Colgate. The Crimson are at home Friday against Clarkson and Saturday against St. Lawrence to close out the regular season. St. Lawrence sits just two points ahead of Harvard for 10th place in the conference.

    Sophomore defensemen Danny Biega, a 2010 3rd-Round pick of Carolina, had two points in the game moving him ahead of Killorn for the team lead in scoring with 25 points. Killorn has 23 points.

    In their second meeting of the season Killorn and Harvard got the better of Gotovets and Cornell. Killorn's two goals helped the Crimson avenge a 2-1 loss to Cornell on January 29. Killorn has seven points in his last three games. Gotovets is now scoreless in his last 15 games, but ranks second on the team with a +10 rating.

    Consolation Game

    Harvard Crimson 5 vs. #15 Boston Terriers 4

    Season totals: 24 GP, 10-11-21, +4, 32 PIM

    Killorn scored two second period goals to help Harvard upset BU in the consolation game of the Beanpot tournament. It was the first win for Harvard over BU in the Beanpot since 1994. The two teams will face each other in the semi-finals next year in the 60th Beanpot tournament.

    Killorn now has a career high in goals and points scored, passing last year's total of nine goals and 20 points.

    #1 Boston College needed overtime to beat Northeastern 7-6 in this years Beanpot final. It was BC's 16th Beanpot title and third in last four years.
